- The modelling strategy and results described in this paper have attracted the attention of TWI and Airbus. As a result of the work, the lead author was invited to lecture at TWI summer school on modelling of weld failure. Also this work provided groundwork to apply for the EPSRC grant HemS - Hydrogen in Metals (Number EP/L014742/1). Airbus research group (material modelling & -processing simulation) have requested access to the code which was used to generate the results of this publication.
