- The article presents the development of tactile play scenarios for children with autism and the implementation of these scenarios in the Kaspar Robot. Case study examples that show how these scenarios encourage children with autism to learn about cause and effect, socially appropriate tactile behaviour and its implications on affective expressions, were widely reported in the world media in the following years as parts of wider reports on the Kaspar project.
