- This work is the first comparative cultural glossary for all six Modern South Arabian languages based on first-hand fieldwork undertaken over a period of 4 years, and funded by a Leverhulme Trust Project Grant (January 2013-December 2016). The volume provides detailed annotations and links to original media files held in the ELAR archive at SOAS, and is a major contribution to research on Modern South Arabian, research on the Semitic lexicon, and research on the language-nature relationship in Southern Arabia.
