- In this study, a biosensor was developed that allows a range of user-friendly and point-of-care health tests similar to a home pregnancy test. The biosensor detects diseased exosomes in the blood and urine even by naked eye and helps rapid recognition of inflammatory bowel diseases, cancer, etc. Besides biomedicine, industry can benefit from this discovery for advanced applications in energy and decoration. This work was patented in Finland (FI 20160222) and reported by various online magazines such as MedIndia, News-Medical.net, Medical Design Technology, EurekAlert, etc.. This study featured as back cover of “Advanced Materials” (https://doi.org/10.1002/adma.201704442 & https://doi.org/10.1002/adma.201870026).
