- This publication provided a key proof of concept for ERC StG AtoFun (714697). It led to invited presentations at international conferences (XRM 2016, TMS 2017, EBSD 2017, TMS 2019, Coherence 2020) and world leading institutions (APS user meeting 2017, ESRF 2018, ESRF EBS workshop 2019, LANL Atomic 3D workshop 2019). It formed the start of a collaboration with scientists at sector 34IDC, APS, lead to substantial follow-on beamtime at the APS, and an invitation to join a successful bid for upgrading the 34IDC instrument (lead developer CDI instrumentation Advanced Photon Source, Argonne National Laboratory available to corroborate).
