- This 248-page monograph provides the first extensive empirical analysis of how one modern feminist campaign, ‘SlutWalk’, has been constructed in global news coverage, feminist publishing, and social media platforms in eight nations around the globe. With empirical data collected over 36 months, the book draws from interviews with 22 SlutWalk organisers, and nearly 700 media texts drawn from news outlets, feminist blogs and websites. The in-depth exploration and its novelty required presentation in book length form.
