- The article addresses the ongoing project of the German government to establish childrens’ rights in the German Constitution which takes place under the impression of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. The Convention was implemented as federal statutory law but not as constitutional law. The article analyses the impact such constitutional rights for children would actually have on the system of fundamental rights in general.
