- Author contribution statement
- The measurements reported in this paper were made by an international collaboration of researchers during an experiment at the Gemini high power laser facility. McKenna contributed to the experiment, supervising his student PhD student Matthew Duff who worked on setting up the experiment arrangement and diagnostics. McKenna also contributed to the development of the paper and reviewed the draft manuscripts. The research was funded in part by linked EPSRC grants between the University of York (PI: Ridgers), Imperial College (PI: Mangles) and University of Strathclyde (PI: McKenna).
