- This paper experimentally and numerically investigates the constitutive relation of recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) under cyclic loading. The novelty of the work is that it pioneers study of the fatigue response of RAC, and as a consequence identifies the wider application of recycled aggregates from demolitions. This publication has provided the foundation for further global studies on both material characterisation and strength sensitivity of RACs (e.g. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.conbuildmat.2019.03.309; https://doi.org/10.1016/j.cemconcomp.2019.103398).
