- Co-edited by Burton, Hollmann and Parker this volume developed out of papers from panels given at the Sixteenth Century Society and the Renaissance Society of America conferences. It represents contributions from 18 scholars across a range of disciplines including philosophy, theology, history and art history. Papers were reviewed and refined by the editors as well as the whole volume going through peer-review. Burton co-authored the short biography of Nicholas of Cusa, the lengthy 50-page introduction to Cusa as an early modern reformer and as sole author contributed a chapter to the volume.
