- The paper presents a novel method to quantify and financially compensate the dynamic compliance of wind power plants with the Grid Codes (Q1 journal: 95H-index). The system operators foresee this as an urgent issue under deep penetration of generation assets with variable input energy. This work was result of collaboration between the first author and Dr J.L. Dominguez-Garcia from IREC. The paper was used as a ‘prove of concept’ in a submitted proposal (scored 11.5) to EU H2020 scheme (https://ec.europa.eu/info/funding-tenders/opportunities/portal/screen/opportunities/topic-details/lc-sc3-es-6-2019), the consortium included the organisations of both authors and industry partners as well, e.g. Schneider Spain and Electricity Exchange UK.
