- Interdisciplinary research bridging material science, biology and surgery that highlights the importance of elastic modulus and pore size of the implant scaffold for soft tissue implants. This research (corresponding author) contributed to further publications with the collaborators (Wu 2018 & Foyt 2019), helped support future funding by consortium partners (SoRo for Health: Implantable soft robotics for restoration of physiological function, PI Birchall) and the results were presented at keynote international meetings (Azerbaijan Science Association 2019, 40th Anniversary of the Chang Gung Memorial Foundation, Taiwan 2016).
