- Additional information
- The manuscript reports the first hyperspectral imaging endoscope with coregistered white light images. The work involved the usage of cancerous and pre-cancerous oesophageal human tissue samples, and the reported endoscope was able to profile the tissue pathology. This system is currently moving towards clinical translation . The project also established a multi-disciplinary collaboration between clinicians (S. Diamond and C. Borzy, Oregon), physicists and engineers.
