- Since 2011 the World Health Organization has been an enthusiastic supporter of mHealth, seeing it a way to reduce inequalities and improve access to healthcare. In a future smart cities mHealth will be key part IT infrastructures and systems. However, such services are complex and cut across many aspects of healthcare. This paper maker an important contribution in using a taxonomy to elucidate these aspects. Also, by identifying characteristics of different system it is possible to use them to provide personalised services which have been shown to improve user experience and can are key factors in marketing such services.
