- ProtoSpray: Funded by Fraser’s EPSRC Fellowship (EP/M021882), this recent international collaboration with MIT CSAIL has led to a completely new fabrication technique for creating displays on complex curved surfaces. Conductive electrodes are embedded within a 3D printed object which defines the shape of spray coated thin film display cells. This work was awarded a CHI 2020 best paper honourable mention award (top 5% of submissions), and a further full CHI paper on sprayable user interfaces also resulted from the collaboration.
