- This paper introduces SklCoin, a new Byzantine consensus protocol which leverages two ideas: 1) the proof-of-stake and 2) scalable collective signing. This protocol is based on a new fast miner election mechanism to supports high transaction rate and facilitates future research in developing IoT infrastructures where IoT devices can quickly reach to a final agreement without running into forking issues experienced in other protocols.
