- This paper, co-authored with Akamai and published in ACM SIGCOMM introduces a system for the automatic detection of critical Internet infrastructure failures with unprecedented accuracy and timeliness, addressing a long-standing gap in network monitoring and risk mitigation. It received immediate attention from industry; invited speaker at major N.American (NANOG) and European (RIPE, Euro-IX, ENOG) conferences and winning a RIPE collaboration award. The system has been licensed and is actively deployed by major network operators (AWS, Microsoft Azure, DE-CIX) and used by academia, e.g. H2020 Endeavour project. The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has funded a follow-up research project ($324k).
