- Additional information
- The paper addresses a very challenging issue of authentication in a telecommunication network. Fraud today is happening through spoofing the identity in the telephony system that is hard to detect. The proposed system can be applied to authenticating identity in the telecommunication networks without the need of a third-party system and is aligned with the STIR/Shaken protocols proposed for detecting identity spoofing in telephone networks
