- Nowak was involved in the development of the analysis software that was used for this analysis, including the Kalman Filter reconstruction and electron identification algorithm. He was a convener of the Monte Carlo production group and its primary worker and was also the physics convener for the prototype detector where the first selection of electron neutrino interactions was developed. He developed the monitoring software for the quality of the data and was part of the team that assembled over 12,000 near and far detectors NOvA modules.
