- This 250 page monograph is an extended piece of research analysing a large body of material following data collection over 5 years drawing upon primary sources from archives in the UK, India, Ireland, Switzerland, USA as well as digital resources from Australia. It investigates the theme of Indian female suffrage debates in transnational context from 1918 to 1950 in considerable depth in relation to multiple geographical contexts, with separate chapters focusing on different areas. These areas and chapters focus on, in order: Britain; the British Empire; Europe and USA; Asia; the Indian subcontinent.
