- Double-weighted statement
- Based on research and reflective practice conducted over a period of more than fifteen years, this monograph covers a substantial and diverse range of performance practices from Broadway musicals through opera to contemporary theatre, theatre-in-education and grime. As well as offering detailed accounts of practice, much of which is otherwise sparsely documented, it offers important new analytical frameworks. The research aims to make a significant contribution to an emerging field of research at the intersection between science, performance and the arts, offering an original socio-political critique of both policy and practice.
