- This joint research project was an international collaboration between Tarbiat Modares University in Iran and Sultan Qaboos University in Oman. This paper presents a new model to predict the magnetic hysteresis of giant magnetostrictive material, Terenol-D, at different frequencies. Many new models have emerged from this work (Hu, International Journal of Solids and Structures, 2021; Zhang, IEEE Sensors, 2020; Liu et al., Sens.&Actu.2016; Xiao
et al., Magnetism, and Magnetic Material, 2017; Hussain, et al., IEEE Tras. Mag,2018; Sarker, Magnetism and Magnetic Material, 2020)
