- The paper led to the award of the £360k Innovate UK collaborative project FALCON (no. 102183) with Moog and Renishaw Plc on the finish machining of additive layer components manufactured in titanium and a further EPSRC Industrial CASE award sponsored by the Director of Group Technology, Renishaw Plc. This was a specially invited paper for a prestigious issue of the journal, which was only open to internationally recognised manufacturing researchers.
