- The paper outlines a novel way of measuring AC current on a household mains connection contributing to the state of the art in the field through both a novel sensor design paired with new software controlling the RFID reader. The software used within this paper links to works (10.1109/RFID-TA.2019.8892220 , 10.1109/JRFID.2020.3018405 , 10.1109/FLEPS49123.2020.9239500 ) which have illustrated world leading performance in the RFID UHF domain. The algorithms and software design provides the framework for interfacing to multiple disciplines of sensors or systems.
