- Catholic Nuns and Sisters in a Secular Age draws on a variety of original material from twenty-four archives, most of which were private archives that necessitated obtaining special permission to access materials, 75 printed primary sources, 13 newspapers and periodicals, and more than 500 pieces of secondary literature. The book also utilises ninety-seven oral testimonies all conducted by the author. One reviewer concluded their review of the monograph with ‘The result is a landmark publication [that] … provides the foundations for many other areas of research in the field’ (British Catholic History). The paperback is due out in April 2021.
