- This volume is the only book-length study of masculinity in Pre-Raphaelitism. The book includes an essay by Yeates, and an Introduction co-written (50%/50%) by Yeates and her co-editor. Yeates was the lead editor for the project. The book was released in hardback in 2014, which sold well in the UK and globally, resulting in paperback release in 2017. The book is published by a leading UK publisher (now subsumed into Routledge), with good international distribution. The book has been reviewed positively in major academic journals, such as Victorian Studies, Journal of Victorian Culture, Burlington Magazine and Journal of Pre-Raphaelite Studies.
