- The first full-length study of the history of British horror radio, Listen in Terror (MUP 2014) is based on extensive archival work (at BBC Caversham and other archive collections), original interviews with scriptwriters and practitioners, and in-depth analysis of different texts and media. From its sustained analysis of those materials, the book develops a significant historical, critical and theoretical exploration of horror radio and audio performance. The monograph was the primary output of AHRC award AH/I000682/1.
