- Double-weighted statement
- This monograph largely addressed texts which had been unconsidered by previous scholarship. Furthermore, texts such as A Jubilee Jaunt to Norway and Lady Elizabeth Grosvenor's Diary of a Tour in Sweden, Norway, and Russia had little or no established contextual or biographical supporting material. Therefore, much of the exposition of these texts in the monograph was developed during an extended research-stage. Material pertaining to the geographical and historical context required archival work and crossed national and linguistic boundaries.
