- This monograph is the result of a major research project carried out over six years. It connects diverse texts and issues in an overarching exploration of the theme of individualism in 21st century Spanish culture. The consideration of these texts and major political and social trends demonstrates how the tensions around individualism underlie the various crises (cultural, economic, ecological) that characterise contemporary society, both in Spain and globally.
