- This is a 789-page annotated edition of the correspondence of the Spanish-Mexican film director, Luis Bu?uel. It is the result of a three-year Leverhulme Trust Research Grant and is the first comprehensive collection of Luis Bu?uel correspondence, consisting of over 1000 annotated letters the director wrote to over 200 colleagues and friends between 1909-1983, and around 88 illustrations, including letters, telegrams and previously unpublished photographs. Research towards this Spanish-language edition was conducted in approximately 90 publicly and privately owned archives in the UK, Spain, Italy, France, US, Mexico and Argentina.
