- Research was supported by the Society of Petrophysics and Well Log Analysts and the Aberdeen Formation Evaluation Society. Combines laboratory protocol developed by the team (Ibekwe et al 2019) with state-of-the-art pore-scale imaging using X-ray computed tomography (Ibekwe et al 2020). The work has led to follow up research by two current PhD students. The findings have been utilised by several research groups world-wide, including Cowan and Curtin Universities, Australia; Dawood University of Engineering and Technology, Pakistan; Khalifa University, United Arab Emirates; and Vrije Universiteit, the Netherlands.
