- Additional information
- Developed a new method to analyse local chemical order in alloys, now exploited to further insights into ordering in Cu3Au (ActaMaterialia 125(2017)15) and strains in high-entropy alloys (ActaMaterialia 122(2017)11). Has led to further funding: EPSRC grant (EP/M005607/1), EPSRC ICASE studentship supported by Rolls Royce plc., and a College research fellowship (valued at c. GBP200k) for the lead author. The lead author awarded the BCA-PCG Malvern-Panalytical Thesis prize 2018. Invited talks at national (BCA PCG-SCMP Winter Meeting, 2017) and >6 international conferences (e.g. TMS2017,US; TMS2019,US). Ongoing collaboration with group at the ISIS Neutron Source UK (Instrument Scientist, contact details available).
