- This output forms part of the underpinning research for the REF2021 Impact Case Study Translating Engineering Science into Automotive Product Development. It has ‘provided new insights into this complex phenomenon and played an important part in advancing Jaguar Land Rover capability in this area of product development and verification.’ (Technical Specialist JLR) The fundamental methodology is being further developed in cross-disciplinary research into fuel atomisation for aircraft engines (ASME Paper: GT2020-14213).
