- This monograph is the result of an extended research project which took place over five years, including an AHRC Fellowship from 201213. It involved the identification of a large body of primary materials and their collation, tagging and categorisation into a specially-created database of online cultural production by Latin(o) Americans from 1990-present. Subsequently, trends were identified and a detailed qualitative analysis of 6 case studies was undertaken, involving a sustained research effort, including interviews with the artists over a period of years, as well visual, textual and paratextual analysis, resulting in this monograph of extended scale and scope.
