- This article extends a conference paper published at KR 2014 with the same title and authors and the paper "A Model for Learning Description Logic Ontologies Based on Exact Learning" (AAAI 2016) by Konev, Ozaki, and Wolter. Some of the proposed algorithms have been implemented in the open source ExactLearner tool presented in "ExactLearner: A Tool for Exact Learning of EL Ontologies" (KR 2018) by Duarte, Konev, Ozaki.
