- An “AGRI-AG” mobile application was developed, tested and shown to have the potential to transform in-field crop monitoring and inform early decision-making by growers. The work was carried out with a leading agricultural company and demonstrates that mobile devices are capable of streaming and displaying 3D maps of farm AGRI data to improve efficiency/ profitability of the farming industry and support more sustainable agriculture. The approach of combining data visualisation and games technology for Precision Agriculture in arable farming is being applied in Dairy farming via a new Innovate UKRI funded “SmARtVIew” project with industry.
