- The paper is the result of a collaborative research with the Fraunhofer Joint Laboratory of Excellence on Advanced Production Technology at the University of Naples Federico II, Italy. The work was conducted as part of the “ADAPTIVE MANUFACTURING” project on “Modular and Adaptive Approach for the Digital Factory” (CTN01_00163_216730) of the Italian National Technology Cluster on Intelligent Factory. The study has led to funding support for new collaboration projects and research activities with industrial partners. New procedures for ergonomics and manufacturing operations have subsequently been adopted and validated in aerospace industry.
