- These widely-applicable results are significant because the paper was one of the first to consider the problem of adapting the power of a static charger to solve the increasingly important problem of extending the life of a network of mobile-sensors with limited energy levels. It presents a plethora of adapting algorithms with different properties, which are evaluated both theoretically and via simulations; thereby making a significant contribution. A preliminary version appeared in one of the best conferences on sensor algorithms (Algosensors 2018) and the full version was published in Computer Networks, one of the top journals of the research area.
