- In this international collaborative work with the University of Naples (Italy) we provide a significant advance in the fundamental description of diffusion in multi-component mixtures with implications for practical design of complex unit operations of industrial relevance, such as in extraction and distillation. The work got the attention of a research group at ETH Zürich who are well-established in this area (https://doi.org/10.1021/acs.iecr.8b03203), sparking an important scientific debate on the fundamental science underpinning this area of research.
