- The outcomes of this research led to a collaboration with Shenzhen University (SZU) (Prof. Hui Huang huihuang@szu.edu.cn) in extending the human interaction analysis algorithm proposed in this paper in intelligent surveillance applications. Dr Edmond Ho was invited (by Prof. Hui Huang) to give a research talk titled “Interaction-based Human Activity Comparison, Analysis and Synthesis” at the Summer School at SZU which attracted over 200 prospective postgraduate research students to attend in July 2019 (https://vcc.tech/resources/ss/2019/course.html). The motion data with close interactions, which are rarely available in the public currently, is published online (URL: http://hubertshum.com/info/publications/tvcg2019interaction/files/database.zip) to stimulate the research in this area.
