- FP7 European funded (NPmimetic 246351) paper highlights a collaboration involving five centres (AO Research Institute, Nicast Ltd., Procore Ltd., University of Zurich and SHU) highlighting the use of a BMP-2/7 grafted fibrin-hyaluronan hydrogel for the treatment of degenerative disc disease. The capacity for repair of the treatment was determined using FTIR imaging histology developed at SHU.
