- This paper is made within the framework of the Irish Centre for Cloud Computing and Commerce (IC4), an internationally recognised industry-led centre of excellence for innovation and applied research. This paper was the first in a series of papers using neural networks in the security domain. This work led to an EU H2020 project entitled PROTECTIVE (Proactive Risk Management through Improved Cyber Situational Awareness) and a PhD, with a leading global provider of consumer and retail market research solutions for a wide range of industries. I was a co-investigator for the H2020 and a co-supervisor for the PhD student.
