- Anne Rowat's contribution to the Cochrane review included providing critical review and feedback on the literature review methods protocol that helped shape the design, conduct and analysis of the systematic literature review. She also contributed to sample preparation by providing data to the review (n=2591 stroke patients, including 927 stoke patients who were dehydrated while in-hospital) and commented on the interpretation of the results. AR provided critical feedback on all drafts of the manuscript to help finalise the systematic literature review and helped to agree the results and key messages prior to publication in the Cochrane Library.
