- Double-weighted statement
- This is the first – and only – sustained, in-depth, book-length interrogation of cultural translation from a Translation Studies perspective. Hitherto, a comprehensive study of cultural translation and its connections with the practice of interlingual translation within the field of Translation Studies had been notably missing. This monograph offers an authoritative exposition of the concept as a means for understanding not only how we communicate across linguistic borders but also how we shape the cultural realms in which such communications take place. In terms of the material covered and its synthesis, it is equivalent to at least 8 articles.
