- Contributed personally and in collaboration with PhD student Cantrill and PDRA Goncalo. Contributions included: event selection development and optimisation using a multivariate classifier, especially in what concerned the definition of the Vector Boson Fusion (VBF) event categories; evaluation of systematic uncertainties associated with jets in the VBF channel, such as jet energy scale and resolution; investigation and optimisation of alternatives for diphoton background modelling in the VBF and gluon-gluon Fusion (ggF) categories, with a view to measurement of their cross-section ratio with reduced statistical and systematic uncertainties. Also contributed to the drafting of the output.
