- Double-weighted statement
- My monograph, Physics and Psychics: The Sciences and the Occult in Modern Britain, should be double-weighted because it is a long book (150k words) based on nearly 20 years of research embracing a large and complex body of primary source material, including archival material in the UK, the US, France and Germany. It uses the material to develop a host of new insights into a range of historical themes and, in terms of depth of analysis and breadth of issues covered, represents a highly original intervention in the historiography.
