- This paper has had a significant impact on the state-of-the-art in the field of speech processing. Especially, the existing voice authentication systems used by banks and many other organisations which previously stored user voice biometric data in servers which violates current GDPR legislation. Hence, the algorithm in the paper was deployed in EU Horizon 2020 project to protect the voice biometrics of the users (https://bit.ly/35GpvQ2).
