- This paper presents a new evaluation of energy saving potentials and energy efficiency improvement of industrial processes through energy benchmarking and implementation of different cogeneration technologies through benchmarking the specific energy consumption of similar processes within different paper mills. It has led to three journal papers on industrial energy management (eg Carbon Emissions Reduction Potentials in Pulp and Paper Mills by Applying Cogeneration Technologies 2017, Energy Procedia) and won first prize for the best paper award at IEEE International Conference for Students on Applied Engineering (ICSAE), October 20-11, 2016, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK
