- This output is a single-author monograph of 342 pages. It arises from five years of original research on Ibn Taymiyya’s ethics. It covers a wide range of topics in Ibn Taymiyya’s thought and Islamic ethics more broadly, offering a detailed study of some of Ibn Taymiyya’s key ethical ideas while also situating these ideas in their intellectual context in Islamic theology, philosophy, and law. The study utilises an extensive corpus of primary material. It also draws on one smaller output, published as a book chapter after a long delay in 2018.
