- Additional information
- This output emerged from a funded PhD project where we highlighted security issues in the authentication mechanism of LTE that leads to the disclosure of personal information such as the user’s identity and location. To resolve this issue, the research proposes a new public key cryptosystem that improves authentication and secures LTE against known attacks, such as MiTM and Session Hijacking. The success of this contribution led to more than 10 further outputs published in leading journals (IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, Future Generation Computer Systems, IEEE Access, IEEE Globecom, IEEE Infocom).
